About GOOD NEIGHBORS:
GOOD NEIGHBORS CAMEROUN (GNCMR) is an international NGO headquartered in Yaoundé, with field offices in Maroua, Mbalmayo, and Batouri. GNCMR focuses on community development through projects in food security, livelihoods, education, child protection, WASH, health, environment, gender, and advocacy. The organization collaborates with international partners, including the UN and INGOs, to find sustainable solutions to development and humanitarian challenges.
Role Overview
Position: Temporary Volunteer;
Reports to: Programme Assistant (Sponsorship Service Department).
The SSD Temporary Volunteer will support the department in carrying out all tasks related to its work and the broader mission of GOOD NEIGHBORS.
A. Duty Station: Mbalmayo.
B. Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Aged between 18 and 28 years; residency in Mbalmayo is an advantage;
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Fluent in French or English (spoken and written); knowledge of local languages is a plus;
• Willing and able to travel to the field;
• Punctual, courteous, tactful, and empathetic in communication;
• Able to work under pressure;
• Fully available, with no professional or personal commitments that could interfere with assigned tasks;
• Willing to adhere to the organization's internal rules.
C. Start Date: Immediate.
