I - Background
The ELIZABETH GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION is a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS, operating in 19 countries and at over 5,500 sites worldwide to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV and to provide care for children already infected. Today, thanks to the highly successful efforts of the Foundation and its partners, pediatric AIDS has been virtually eliminated in the United States. With a growing global workforce of over 1,000 staff members, nine out of ten of whom work in the field, the Foundation's global mission is to implement HIV prevention, care, and treatment programs; drive innovative research; and carry out strategic, targeted global advocacy initiatives to bring about meaningful change in the lives of millions of women, children, and families worldwide. The ELIZABETH GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION (EGPAF) Cameroon works in partnership with the Ministry of Health to support HIV prevention, care, and treatment services, as well as health systems strengthening. EGPAF is primarily funded by PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). ELIZABETH GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION Cameroon is headquartered in Yaoundé, Bastos, registered under number M0914125000911Q, and represented by the Country Director, Dr. Patrice TECHENDJOU.
II - Objectives
EGPAF Cameroon invites quotations for the supply of ICT-related items listed in Annex I. You are kindly requested to submit a proposal for the provision of IT equipment in accordance with the attached list and technical specifications (see Annex I).
III - Validity Period of Proposals
Proposals must remain valid for a period of 60 (sixty) days following the submission deadline set by EGPAF. Proposals with a shorter validity period may be rejected. Under exceptional circumstances, EGPAF may request the bidder's consent to extend the validity period. Such requests and the corresponding responses shall be exchanged in writing. Any bidder granting such an extension will not be required, nor permitted, to modify its proposal.
IV - Bidding Instructions
Bidders are invited to submit competitive quotations for the applicable items listed in Annex I.
