SAASA B2E is looking for a Human Resource Intern
Key responsibilities:
• Contribute to writing and posting job openings across multiple platforms;
• Review incoming applications and pre-select candidates based on position criteria;
• Arrange interview appointments between applicants and hiring supervisors;
• Update candidates on their application progress via email and telephone;
• Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment databases current;
• Assist with employment verification and reference checks;
• Generate offer letters and internship contracts;
• Support the preparation of onboarding materials for new employees
• Join recruitment meetings and record meeting minutes;
• Carry out additional administrative HR duties as needed.
Qualifications and requirements:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree/diploma program in: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline;
• Genuine enthusiasm for recruitment and talent acquisition;
• Excellent spoken and written communication abilities (English and French);
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Strong sense of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information;
• Capable of working autonomously and meeting tight deadlines.
Preferred skills (optional):
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or job boards;
• Fundamental understanding of employment legislation;
• Previous internship or volunteer work in an HR setting.
