Overview
Oversee the organisation’s IT systems and infrastructure to deliver dependable, secure and efficient services throughout all locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Set IT priorities, plan investments and oversee the IT budget;

  • Administer networks, servers, databases, hardware and software across all sites;

  • Maintain system availability through preventive maintenance, updates, backups and recovery procedures;

  • Safeguard systems and data, track security threats and apply corrective actions;

  • Lead IT projects, including application development, ERP rollouts and system migrations;

  • Manage the IT team, coordinate user assistance and handle major technical incidents;

  • Analyse departmental requirements and suggest digital solutions that enhance operations.

Required skills

  • Excellent communication and understanding abilities;

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience or a professional background in the education sector.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline;

  • At least 5 to 6 years of experience in IT or comparable positions.
