TAARA Mobility Platform Cameroon

As part of our commercial launch in Buea and Limbe, we are seeking highly motivated, creative, and results-driven professionals to join our founding team.

Total Headcount: 6 Founding Positions
Location: Buea & Limbe, South West Region, Cameroon
Employment Type: Full-Time
Probation Period: Six (6) Months

1. Project Director
Job Purpose
Provide strategic direction for the TAARA project, oversee operations, drive growth, coordinate partnerships, and ensure the achievement of institutional objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation of TAARA's strategic plan;
• Manage fundraising activities and investor relations;
• Establish strategic partnerships with corporate clients, government agencies, and transport associations;
• Supervise all departments and founding team members;
• Monitor financial and operational performance against set indicators;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Report to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

Required Profile
• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree minimum in Management, Commerce, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of management experience, preferably in technology, logistics, or mobility;
• Strong leadership, business development, and stakeholder management skills;
• Proven experience in team and budget management.

Performance Indicators
• Launch completed within the approved timeline;
• Revenue targets met according to monthly forecasts;
• Investor reports submitted on schedule;
• Customer and driver recruitment goals achieved as per planning;
• Operational profitability reached between months 8 and 9 (break-even point).
