Reports To: Site Manager

The Accommodation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the living quarters at the Kiabukwa site. This role ensures that all accommodations remain clean, safe, and properly equipped to provide a high standard of living for personnel. Serving as the primary point of contact for residents, the Accommodation Manager oversees room occupancy, facility maintenance, housekeeping standards, and essential site services such as laundry and basic dining logistics.

Key Responsibilities
Room Allocation & Occupancy Management

• Assign rooms to incoming personnel and maintain accurate records of room occupancy;
• Orient new residents on site accommodation policies, safety rules, and expectations;
• Monitor premises to ensure safe, orderly, and policy-compliant use of all facilities.

Inventory & Supply Chain
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all room assets, including furniture, mattresses, and bedding;
• Monitor stock levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and essential room items;
• Proactively forecast and request new stock or replacements to prevent shortages.

Maintenance & Facility Resolution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident accommodation issues or complaints;
• Log, track, and coordinate maintenance requests (e.g., electrical, plumbing, furniture repairs) with the relevant site teams;
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address minor facility issues before they escalate.

Cleaning & Housekeeping
• Supervise the daily activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations;
• Conduct regular, rigorous inspections of all rooms and common areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness;
• Implement cleaning schedules and protocols for all residential areas.

Laundry & Support Services
• Oversee facility laundry services, ensuring resident clothing and site bedding are processed and returned efficiently and on schedule;
• Coordinate food service support or basic dining logistics for residents as required.

Profile
Experience:

• 3+ years in facility management, housekeeping supervision, or accommodation coordination in remote or industrial environments.

Skills:
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage occupancy logs and inventory;
• Proven leadership ability to supervise and motivate cleaning and service staff;
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, serving as a responsive point of contact for site residents.
