SAASA B2E is looking for an Operational Cashier
Reporting Line: Floor Manager / Network Operations Manager
Contract Type: Permanent contract (CDI) – Full-time – 3-month probation period, renewable once
Schedule: 12-hour cycles, 2 days worked / 2 days off (alternating day shifts 6am–6pm or night shifts 6pm–6am)
The Cashier represents the company at the retail counter and serves as the key enforcer of operational compliance. They process bets, gather stakes, handle the cash drawer with meticulous care, and ensure that gaming regulations are upheld – including the prohibition of minors and the monitoring of transactions. As a company employee, they operate solely under the direction of the organization.
Main Duties
Bet processing and cash collection
• Greet bettors and enter sports and virtual bets into the terminal;
• Collect wagers and confirm the correctness of each ticket prior to finalization;
• Educate players on game rules and odds calculation, while refraining from providing any advice on their wagers.
Cash drawer oversight and remittance
• Keep the daily cash log for the position and ensure alignment between collected amounts and system data;
• Conduct cash drawer reconciliation at every shift handover, including double-counting and a signed acknowledgment;
• Submit all collected funds in line with company policy.
Control and regulatory compliance
• Turn away any minor or individual subject to a gambling restriction;
• Perform mandatory customer verification (KYC) procedures, especially for large payouts;
• Promptly report any incident, cash imbalance, suspicious activity, or attempted fraud.
Point of sale upkeep
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and inviting workstation; notify management of any equipment issues without delay.
Candidate Profile
Experience
• At least 1 year of experience as a cashier or operator in sports and virtual betting. Familiarity with betting terminals and odds is mandatory.
Skills
• Strong ability to perform rapid calculations and handle cash transactions;
• Proficiency with cash register terminals and betting software;
• Understanding of sports betting (odds, bet types) and virtual games;
• Basic familiarity with Mobile Money platforms (Orange Money, MTN MoMo) is a plus.

• Strong customer focus and polished professional appearance;
• Alertness and assertiveness to enforce rules, including denying service to minors;
• Readiness to work a rotating schedule, including both day and night shifts.
Working Conditions
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 2 days on / 2 days off rotation, alternating between daytime (6am–6pm) and nighttime (6pm–6am) hours;
• Rest periods: As stipulated by the Labour Code, with rest days included in the schedule cycle;
• Employment status: Direct employee of the company, registered with CNPS, operating under the sole authority of the organization.
Specific Obligations

• Strict prohibition of allowing minors to participate in gambling activities;
• Absolute ban on placing bets for personal account;
• Zero tolerance for extending betting credit to players;
• Rigorous adherence to confidentiality regarding gaming data and internal protocols;
• Compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT) obligations as per company directives.
