Complexe Scolaire Bilingue TEBAP is hiring a Secondary School Teacher — Anglophone Section

 

Complexe TEBAP is a bilingual school based in Yaoundé that provides high-quality instruction across both the Francophone and Anglophone subsystems. The school encourages academic excellence, discipline, bilingualism and the comprehensive development of each learner.

Subjects required:
Mathematics; Additional Mathematics; Computer Science; Physics; Chemistry; Biology; Human Biology; English Language; English Literature; French; History; Geography; Citizenship Education; Economics; Commerce; Philosophy.

Main purpose:
Provide effective teaching aligned with the Anglophone subsystem curriculum and ensure ongoing academic and disciplinary monitoring of students.

Key responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons; design, administer and grade assessments; track students’ results and academic progress; maintain constructive classroom discipline; take part in staff meetings, class councils, school events and departmental projects; support students preparing for GCE examinations; liaise with parents when required.

Required profile:
Hold at minimum an HND or a BACHELOR’s degree in the subject applied for or a related area; possess solid knowledge of the Anglophone subsystem curriculum and GCE syllabuses; previous teaching experience desirable; familiarity with digital teaching tools is an advantage; demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, integrity and teamwork; ability to teach one or more related subjects is a plus. Ability to teach within the Francophone subsystem, with good knowledge of relevant MINESEC programmes, is an added advantage.

Conditions and benefits:
Positions may be offered on a full-time or part-time/temporary basis depending on the school’s needs and the assigned teaching load; full-time teachers receive a fixed monthly salary based on experience, teaching load and the school’s pay scale; part-time/temporary teachers are paid according to hours actually taught; the school provides a professional bilingual working environment and collaboration within academic departments.
